Collaboration with Junior Achievement Hong Kong

HSBC first supported the JA Company Programme in 2003. Twenty years later, The Hongkong Bank Foundation and Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JA HK) renewed their commitment and announced a three-year partnership that aims to offer secondary students hands-on entrepreneurial experiences in a programme that is going to be the largest of its kind in Hong Kong.

The programme prepares some 6,000 secondary students, aged between 14 and 18, in becoming future entrepreneurs, equipping them with practical problem-solving and critical thinking skills through a range of workshops and activities.

Over 300 HSBC volunteers will be business advisors to the students, as participants develop a business idea and put it to work during a seven-month period.

The programme will feature a range of learning workshops that can help grow knowledge and skills in topics, including sustainability, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, e-commerce and innovation.
